Valentine’s Day means sugar and chocolate and cookies and love, love, love. So what could be more fun than building our own Valentine cookie house filled with sugar and chocolate, icing and candy hearts, pink and white marshmallows. All held in place with vanilla frosting, pink sprinkles and A LOT more pink icing!

Graham crackers were our base for walls, ceilings and the door – some of them cracked as we shaped to fit them but no problem, then we could just eat those and use some others, fortunately I had a brand new full box of them just in case.

I have a new found respect for gingerbread house makers and fancy cake decorating bakers because it really wasn’t that easy to shape, support and keep it all together. It did a lot of falling apart along the way!

The cake, candy, brownies, marshmallows, sprinkles cookie accessories were the best part of all. Everyone got to pick a favorite and the sweets were the best valentines home decorations ever. Of course everything got taste tested along the way!

Our Valentine’s Day cookie house was not only filled with sugar, chocolate and icing, it was stuffed with giggles, smiles and a bunch of family fun hours that filled our home with all the love every Valentine deserves.

Happy Valentine's Day everyone from our house to yours!
