Chocolate pumpkin cinnamon muffins are so moist and so delicious, so easy to make I hope your family will love them as much as mine does.
Start your chocolate pumpkin cinnamon muffins with a box of chocolate cake mix, add pumpkin and a few more ingredients and soon your home will smell like Fall, cozy and family friendly.
Very few ingredients are my favorite amount of ingredients!
- 1 Box Chocolate Cake Mix
- 1 Can Pumpkin (NOT pumpkin pie filling!)
- 1 Egg
- 1/2 Cup Dark Brown Sugar
- 1 Tsp Cinnamon
- Chocolate Chips (optional but delicious!)
In a mixing bowl add the chocolate cake mix and can of pumpkin together until all cake mix powder is thoroughly blended. Add the egg, brown sugar and cinnamon until everything is blended and the batter is on the thick side. Fold in white and/or milk chocolate chips.
You can easily make this batter into nice size muffins but I chose to make them “cupcake” size and filled the liners at least 3/4 to the top for nice medium sized chocolate pumpkin muffins.
After your muffin tins or liners are filled combine brown sugar and cinnamon and sprinkle (big sprinkles or little sprinkles depending on your sweet tooth) over the top of the muffins before baking.
Bake At 350° for 15-20 minutes or until the toothpick test comes out dry!
Warning: Chocolate Pumpkin Cinnamon muffins are light, delicious, moist and perfect for breakfast, lunch or after dinner dessert!
